Cook County Board President Toni Preckwinkle, the Cook County Department of Transportation and Highways (DoTH) and Cook County Commissioners were joined by federal, state and local officials to celebrate the completion of the Lake Cook Road Reconstruction Project earlier today.

Project Fact Sheet
The purpose of this project is to alleviate congestion and increase safety along the main east-west roadway. This vital roadway serves an average of 40,000 vehicles per day between neighborhoods and commercial centers.
